The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for compiling flat objects. According to the invention, a gripper conveyor is used, the grippers of which (12) either act directly as support elements (20) or contact surfaces (22) for the products (100) to be compiled, thereby constituting a receiving unit (10), or interact with a separate support element (20) to form a receiving unit (10). The use of a gripper conveyor having a controllable opening state and a controllable orientation of the gripper jaws (14, 16) of the individual grippers (12), and/or a controllable orientation of the separate support elements (20), has the advantage that the orientation of the contact surfaces and the clamping function within a receiving unit (10) can be set independently of the adjoining receiving units (10). In this way, greater flexibility is attained.
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour assembler des objets plats. Selon l'invention, on utilise un transporteur à pinces dont les pinces (12) jouent le rôle soit d'éléments de support (20) ou de surface d'appui (22) pour les produits (100) à assembler et représentent ainsi une unité de réception (10) ou coopèrent avec un élément de support séparé (20) pour former une unité de réception (10). L'utilisation d'un transporteur à pinces équipé de pinces (12) individuelles avec des mâchoires (14, 16) dont l'état d'ouverture ainsi que l'orientation peuvent être commandés et/ou d'un l'élément de support séparé (20) dont l'orientation peut être commandée présente l'avantage que l'orientation des surfaces d'appui et la fonction de serrage à l'intérieur de l'unité de réception (10) peuvent être réglées indépendamment des unités de réception (10) voisines. Il en résulte une plus grande flexibilité.
