The invention relates to a device and a method for recovering anaesthetic during the use of inhaled anaesthetics. An anaesthetic reflector (5) is used which absorbs anaesthetic medium from the gas exhaled by the patient and desorbs anaesthetic medium to the gas inhaled by the patient. According to the invention a moisture-heat exchanger (12) is arranged in the system which, in an equivalent manner, recovers water vapour from the gas exhaled to the gas inhaled. The moisture-heat exchanger (12) is preferably located between the anaesthetic reflector (5) and the patient (1). The device and the method according to the invention enable the gas inhaled to be moistened to prevent dehydration, as well as increasing the efficiency of the reflector (5).
Cette invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé qui permettent de récupérer un anesthésiant lors de l'utilisation d'anesthésiants par inhalation. A cette fin, on utilise un réflecteur (5) d'anesthésiant qui va absorber le milieu anesthésiant contenu dans les gaz exhalés par le patient, puis désorber le milieu anesthésiant dans les gaz inhalés par le patient. Un échangeur d'humidité-chaleur (12) est disposé dans un système qui, de manière analogue, va récupérer la vapeur d'eau des gaz exhalés puis la renvoyer dans les gaz inhalés. Cet échangeur d'humidité-chaleur (12) est de préférence disposé entre le réflecteur (5) d'anesthésiant et le patient (1). Le dispositif et le procédé décrits dans cette invention permettent d'humidifier les gaz inhalés afin d'éviter toute déshydratation, ceci tout en accroissant l'efficacité du réflecteur (5).
