A device for automatically supplying feed to animals, such as cows. The device is provided with a control device which generates a control signal for controlling the supply of the feed, and with parameter-measuring means for measuring a momentary value of a variable parameter and for issuing a parameter value signal to the control device. The control device is provided with a processing device for processing the parameter value signal into the control signal. The parameter measuring means comprise means for measuring the condition score of an animal and or issuing a condition score signal to the processing device. A method of automatically supplying feed to animals, such as cows. The method comprises the step of measuring a momentary value of a variable parameter and of providing a parameter value signal, the supply of feed depending on the parameter value signal. As variable parameter the condition score of an animal is chosen.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de distribution d'aliments au bétail, notamment à des vaches. Le dispositif est pourvu d'un dispositif de commande générant un signal de commande de la distribution d'aliments ainsi que d'un dispositif permettant de mesurer certains paramètres à un moment précis ainsi que de transmettre au dispositif de commande un signal relatif à la valeur associée à un paramètre donné. Le dispositif de commande est muni d'un dispositif de traitement dont la fonction est de traiter le signal contenant la valeur du paramètre, puis de le comparer au signal de commande. Le dispositif de mesure des paramètres permet notamment de mesurer l'état d'un animal et de transmettre un signal relatif à l'état de l'animal au dispositif de traitement. Une méthode de distribution automatique d'aliments au bétail, notamment à des vaches. La méthode en question passe par la mesure ponctuelle d'un paramètre variable, l'émission d'un signal relatif à la valeur du paramètre. Les aliments distribués au bétail dépendent du signal reçu. L'état de l'animal est le paramètre variable choisi.
