A device for designing a sensor arrangement for an automated system, the device comprising a first input unit for receiving a specification of a plurality of sensor measurements to be carried out by the sensor arrangement, a second input unit for receiving a specification of a confidence region together with an associated confidence level for each of the specified sensor measurements, a third input unit for receiving a specification of a target confidence level for the automated system, and a configuration unit for configuring the plurality of sensor measurements and for configuring the combination of the sensor measurements in a manner to guarantee the target confidence level for the automated system.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour concevoir un agencement de capteur pour un système automatisé, le dispositif comprenant une première unité d'entrée pour recevoir une spécification d'une pluralité de mesures de capteur à réaliser par l'agencement de capteur, une deuxième unité d'entrée pour recevoir une spécification d'une région de confiance en même temps qu'un niveau de confiance associé pour chacune des mesures de capteur spécifiées, une troisième unité d'entrée pour recevoir une spécification d'un niveau de confiance cible pour le système automatisé et une unité de configuration pour configurer la pluralité de mesures de capteur et configurer la combinaison des mesures de capteur de manière à garantir le niveau de confiance cible pour le système automatisé.
