A device is useful for connecting accessory parts to formwork panels, compensating members or suchlike formwork members having stiffening webs or stiffening profiles on their side remote from the forming surface. The device has an essentially U-shape cross section, the U-areas having fastening locations, preferably bores, for the accessory parts such as booms, adjustable props, platform brackets or the like, and in the position of use, the U-crosspiece butts and is drawn tightly against a stiffening profile, and particularly against a cross web provided on this profile. At least one of the U-arms, and preferably both U-arms, has an extension extending over part of its length and projecting beyond the U-crosspiece on that side of the U-arms which faces the forming surface in the position of use. The extension is provided as protection against torsion and is adapted to be placed against a longitudinal side face of the stiffening profile and against the transition from the rearward or cross web to the longitudinal side face. The U-crosspiece of the device has at least one recess or hole - possibly even one open at the edge - for a fastening member to engage, preferably for the shank of a fastening member to pass through. It is thereby possible for the device to be anchored - in a torsion-proof manner, and in two orientations rotationally displaced through 90°, to a stiffening profile, so that the forces and moments encountered can be transferred well.
