A flow rate control device (18) placed at the bottom of an oil well in production comprises holes (24) formed in the production tubing (16), a closure sleeve (26) suitable for sliding over the holes (24) for controlling the flow rate, and a protective sleeve (34). The protective sleeve (34) is urged by a return spring (36) into a position in which it covers a sealing gasket (32). During closure of the device (18), the two sleeves come into edge-to-edge abutment and the closure sleeve (26) pushes the protective sleeve (34) back against the return spring (36). The sealing gasket (32) is never in direct contact with the fluid in the well. Preferably, the closure sleeve (26) is mounted on the outside of the production tubing (16).
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de régulation de débit (18) qui est disposé au fond d'un puits de pétrole en cours de production, et qui se compose de trous (24) formés dans la colonne de production (16), d'un manchon de fermeture (26) capable de coulisser par-dessus les trous (24) afin de réguler le débit, et d'un manchon de protection (34). Le manchon de protection (34) est poussé par un ressort de rappel (36) en une position où il recouvre un joint d'étanchéité (32). Lors de la fermeture du dispositif (18), les deux manchons viennent en butée bord-à-bord, et le manchon de fermeture (26) repousse le manchon de protection (34) à l'encontre de la force du ressort de rappel (36). Le joint d'étanchéité (32) n'entre ainsi jamais en contact direct avec le fluide contenu dans le puits. Le manchon de fermeture (26) est de préférence monté à l'extérieur de la colonne de production (16).
