A device to encourage hand washing compliance in a facility such as a restroom includes a housing configured for detachably mounting on a support surface. An ambient light sensor is disposed relative to the housing to detect ambient light within the room. An audio device within the housing contains at least one audible hand washing compliance message track that is played over a speaker within the housing. A controller is in operable communication with the ambient light sensor and the audio device, and activates the device upon determining whether a threshold amount of ambient light is present in the room.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif ergonomique conçu pour inciter à se laver les mains dans un lieu tel que des toilettes et qui comprend un logement prévu pour être monté amovible sur une surface support. Un capteur de lumière ambiante est disposé par rapport au logement de façon à détecter la lumière ambiante à l'intérieur de la pièce. Un dispositif audio situé à l'intérieur du logement comprend au moins une piste sonore diffusant un message incitant à se laver les mains à travers un haut-parleur situé à l'intérieur du logement. Une commande est reliée de façon opérationnelle au capteur de lumière ambiante et au dispositif audio, et active le dispositif après détermination d'un seuil de quantité de lumière présente dans la pièce.
