The device for hauling felled trees by helicopter comprises a cable attached to the helicopter hull and a grab attached to the lower part of the cable. The distance between the cable-hull attachment points and the grab lies in the range 1.78 - 7.27 times the diameter of the helicopter rotor. The pincer-type grab is provided with a hydraulic or electrical drive and at least two air fans arranged on the grab symmetrically in relation to the cable attachment point.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de treuillage par hélicoptère d'arbres abattus, lequel dispositif comprend un câble fixé à la carlingue de l'hélicoptère, ainsi qu'un système de saisie fixé à l'extrémité inférieure dudit câble. La distance entre les points de fixation du câble à la carlingue de l'hélicoptère et le système de saisie, est égale à 1,78 à 7,27 fois le diamètre de l'hélice porteuse dudit hélicoptère. Le système de saisie se présente sous forme de pinces et comporte un dispositif d'actionnement électrique ou hydraulique. Le système de saisie est en outre pourvu d'au moins deux soufflantes, lesquelles sont montées sur ledit système de manière symétrique par rapport à son point de fixation au câble.
