A device for improving the quality in indoor air comprising a cassing (2) with an air inlet (3) and an air outlet (5), a member (7) arranged to cause air in a room, in which the casing is placed, to flow in through the inlet and inside the casing to the outlet and therefrom out into the room again, and means (9, 11) adapted to influence the quality of the air passing through the casing. The casing also contains leaf plants (9) and said member (7) is provided in order to cause the air to flow past the leaf surfaces of the plants in order to remove contaminations and particles from the air by absorption thereof by means of the leaves of the plants.
Ce dispositif, qui sert à améliorer la qualité de l'air à l'intérieur de locaux, comprend une enceinte (2) avec une entrée d'air (3) et une sortie d'air (5), un élément (7) conçu pour amener l'air se trouvant dans une pièce, dans laquelle est placée l'enceinte, à pénétrer dans l'enceinte par l'entrée et à ressortir par la sortie afin de se retrouver dans la pièce, ainsi qu'un moyen (9, 11) conçu pour influencer la qualité de l'air traversant l'enceinte. Cette enceinte contient également des plantes à feuilles (9) et l'élément (7) est conçu pour faire passer l'air sur les surfaces des feuilles des plantes, afin de débarrasser l'air des agents contaminants et des particules en suspension, par absorption de ces agents et de ces particules par les feuilles des plantes.
