The invention relates to a device (11) for the manufacture of an absorbent product comprising a rotatable slitting tool (1) having an extent in a radial direction and an extent in an axial direction perpendicular to the radial direction. The slitting tool (1) comprises a cutting part (2) comprising a plurality of cutting edges (3) having a first radius (R) and present between the cutting edges intermediate parts (4) situated at a smaller distance (r) from the axial centre line of the slitting tool (1) than the cutting edges (3). The invention is characterized in that the device (11) comprises a force-absorbing means (15) so arranged as to absorb forces from an abutment roller (16) at least when the intermediate parts (4) in the slitting tool (1) pass the abutment roller (16).
L'invention concerne un dispositif (11) permettant de fabriquer un produit absorbant, ledit dispositif comportant un outil de cisaillage rotatif (1) ayant une portée dans une direction radiale et une portée dans une direction axiale perpendiculaire à la direction radiale. L'outil de cisaillage (1) comporte une pièce coupante (2) comportant une pluralité d'arêtes tranchantes (3) ayant un premier rayon (R) et, présentes entre les arêtes tranchantes, des pièces intermédiaires (4) se trouvant à une plus petite distance (r) de l'axe central de l'outil de cisaillage (1) par rapport aux arêtes tranchantes (3). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le dispositif (11) comporte un moyen absorbant les forces (15) arrangé de telle manière à absorber les forces provenant d'un rouleau d'appui (16) au moins quand les pièces intermédiaires (4) de l'outil de cisaillage (1) passent au niveau du rouleau d'appui (16).
