A dispensing device, such as a needle free injector, comprising a spring which provides an energy store, and a dispensing member movable to effect dispensing under the force of the spring, a latch having a first, safe position which disables triggering of the device, a second, ready to trigger position in which it restrains movement of the dispensing member but enables triggering, and a third, triggered position in which it permits such movement. A trigger is operable by the user for moving the latch from the second position to the third position. A safety mechanism, preferably in the form of an appropriately shaped slot in the dispensing member, is effective before triggering the device to prevent movement of the latch to the third position. An attachment is provided for moving the latch from the first, safe position to the second, ready to trigger position to enable triggering of the device. A cap is provided to maintain the sterility and stability of the contained medicament, and the device is configured such that it is impossible to place it in the ready to trigger state prior to removal of the cap.
Un dispositif de distribution, tel qu'un injecteur sans aiguille comprend un ressort qui stocke de l'énergie et un élément distributeur qui est mobile pour assurer la distribution sous l'effet du ressort, une goupille présentant une première position sans danger qui invalide le déclenchement du dispositif et une deuxième position autorisant le déclenchement dans laquelle elle limite le mouvement de l'élément distributeur mais autorise le déclenchement et enfin, une troisième position armée dans laquelle elle autorise un tel mouvement. Un déclencheur peut être actionné par l'utilisateur pour déplacer la goupille de la deuxième à la troisième position. Un mécanisme de sécurité, se présentant de préférence sous forme d'une fente de forme appropriée prévue dans l'élément distributeur sert, avant le déclenchement du dispositif, à empêcher le mouvement de la goupille dans la troisième position. Un élément est prévu pour déplacer la goupille de la première position sans danger vers la deuxième position autorisant le déclenchement afin de permettre ledit déclenchement du dispositif. Un capuchon est prévu pour maintenir l'état stérile et la stabilité du médicament contenu dans le dispositif, ledit dispositif étant configuré de telle sorte qu'il soit impossible de le mettre dans l'état prêt à déclencher avant d'avoir enlevé le capuchon.
