A device for storing and dispensing perfume has a plurality of compartments (11) for storing the perfume. Each compartment (11) has an aperture (3) in a compartment wall (4) through which the perfume is released from the compartment (11). An elongate stem (5) extends from a base portion (22) within each compartment (11) and the stem base portion (22) is biased against the compartment wall (4) by a pair of resilient bands (21) to form a seal. The stem (5) has a larger and a smaller diameter stem portion along its length and extends out of the compartment (11) through the aperture (3). The larger diameter stem portion provides an interference fit with the aperture (3) and the diameter of the smaller diameter stem portion is smaller than the aperture (3). Upon pushing the elongate stem (5) into the compartment (11) against the bias of the resilient bands (21) the aperture (3) is opened by moving the stem base portion (22) from the compartment wall (4) and moving the larger diameter stem portion away from the aperture and the smaller diameter stem portion into the aperture (3) releasing the interference fit, thereby enabling perfume to be released from the compartment (11).

Chaque compartiment (11) possède une ouverture (3) dans une paroi du compartiment (4) par laquelle la fragrance est libérée du compartiment (11). Une tige allongée (5) s~étend à partir d~une partie de base (22) à l~intérieur de chaque compartiment (11) et la partie de base de la tige (22) est inclinée (4) par une paire de bandes élastiques (21) de manière à former un joint détanchéité. La tige (5) possède une partie de tige de diamètre supérieur et de diamètre inférieur sur sa longueur et s'étend hors du compartiment (11) par l~ouverture (3). La partie de tige de diamètre supérieur fournit un ajustement avec serrage avec l~ouverture (3) et le diamètre de la partie de tige de diamètre inférieur est plus petit que l~ouverture (3). En poussant la tige allongée (5) dans le compartiment (11) en forçant la distortion des bandes élastiques (21), l~ouverture (3) est élargie en déplaçant la partie de base de la tige (22) de la paroi du compartiment (4) et en déplaçant la partie de tige plus large pour l~écarter de l~ouverture, de même que la partie de tige de diamètre inférieur (3), relâchant l~ajustement avec serrage, et permettant ainsi la libération de la fragrance du compartiment (11).
