A device for tempering steel tubes comprising an immersion tank (6) for cooling fluid, a chassis (2) for horizontally supporting the tube (5) to be tempered in the tank (6), means for displacing the chassis (2) from a suspended position over the tank to a second position in which the tube is inside the tank, means (3i, 4i) for maintaining the tube on the chassis, so that it does not float and a cooling fluid injection nozzle (1) abuttable against an end of the tube (5) for injecting the cooling fluid into the tube. The invention an provides an injection nozzle support actuable (9) for coupling the nozzle (1) to the end of the tube (5) in the suspended position and allowing it to accompany the tube to the second position. The invention further refers to a method for tempering steel tubes, in which dipping in, and injection of cooling fluid are effected in a substantially manner.
Dispositif de revenu pour tubes d'acier. Il comporte un réservoir (6) pour un liquide de refroidissement, un châssis (2) destiné à porter un tube horizontal (5) à faire revenir dans le réservoir (6), un organe servant à déplacer le châssis (2) entre une position dans laquelle il est suspendu au-dessus du réservoir et une seconde position dans laquelle le tube se trouve à l'intérieur du réservoir, des organes (3i, 4i) servant à garder le tube sur le châssis afin qu'il ne flotte pas, ainsi qu'une buse (1) d'injection de liquide de refroidissement apte à venir s'appuyer contre l'une des extrémités du tube afin d'injecter le liquide de refroidissement à l'intérieur de celui-ci. On a prévu un support (9) pour la buse d'injection, le support pouvant coupler ladite buse (1) à l'extrémité du tube (5) lorsque celui-ci se trouve dans sa position suspendue, et permettre à ladite buse d'accompagner le tube jusqu'à la seconde position. On a également prévu un procédé de revenu pour tubes d'acier selon lequel on réalise sensiblement en même temps l'immersion et l'injection du fluide de refroidissement.
