The present invention relates to a diagnostic method for the determination of Helicobacter pylori in a tissue biopsy comprising the step of incubating a tissue biopsy with an aqueous diagnostic reagent comprising urea and a pH indicator, and determining any pH change, characterised in that said diagnostic reagent comprises a lactone, and that the ratio between the volume of the reagent and the volume of the sample is variable and less than 30.
La présente invention porte sur une méthode de diagnostic pour la détermination d'Helicobacter pylori dans une biopsie de tissu. Cette méthode comprend une étape d'incubation d'une biopsie de tissu avec un réactif de diagnostic aqueux comprenant de l'urée et un indicateur de pH, et une étape de détermination de tout changement du pH. Elle se caractérise en ce que ledit réactif de diagnostic comprend une lactone, et que le rapport entre le volume du réactif et le volume de l'échantillon est variable et inférieur à 30.
