The present invention concerns to a system for detecting and diagnosing ear related conditions. The invention provides for a device capable of obtaining a spectrum of reflected light from an ear of a subject and a processing unit in connection with said device, which is capable of translating the obtained spectrum of reflected light to one or more output values related to the condition of the ear. The invention further provides a method for detecting and diagnosing ear related conditions comprising the steps of illuminating inside the ear; inserting a device to the ear canal capable of conveying at least one spectrum of reflected light from the ear to a processing unit (50), and activating said processing unit thereby translating at least one spectrum of reflected light provided at the same time of activating to one or more output values related to the condition of the ear.

L'invention concerne un système de détection et de diagnostic de l'état de l'oreille. L'invention concerne un appareil capable d'obtenir un spectre de lumière réfléchie provenant de l'oreille d'un sujet et une unité de traitement connectée audit appareil qui est capable de traduire le spectre obtenu de lumière réfléchie pour une ou plusieurs valeur(s) de sortie concernant l'état de l'oreille. L'invention concerne également un procédé de détection et de diagnostic de l'état de l'oreille consistant à éclairer l'intérieur de l'oreille, insérer un appareil dans le conduit auditif externe capable de convoyer au moins un spectre de lumière réfléchie de ladite oreille jusqu'à une unité de traitement et d'activer ladite unité de traitement en traduisant ainsi au moins un spectre de lumière réfléchie fourni au moment de l'activation d'une ou plusieurs valeur(s) de sortie concernant l'état de l'oreille.
