A piece, such as a dice or a playing dice, provided with an outer surface with four faces. Each face has at least in part the shape of a segment of a sphere and carries an identifying index. The centre of each face is located on the angular points of a symmetrical tetrahedron. In each case three of the four faces, which are situated mutually in pairs adjacent one other, touch one other at a trihedral point, which is situated diametrically with regard to the fourth face. On the outer surface the piece is provided with four support positions for the piece, each support position having as a centre a trihedral point. Assembly of a game board with a first number of playing surfaces and a second number of playing dice according to the invention, each playing surface containing a recess for removably or alternatively rotatably and retainably receiving a playing dice. Cette invention concerne une pièce, du type dé ou dé à jouer, dont la surface externe présente quatre faces. Chaque face a, au moins en partie, la forme d'une partie de sphère et elle porte une marque d'identification. Le centre de chaque face se situe au niveau de l'un des sommets d'un tétraèdre symétrique. Dans tous les cas, trois des quatre faces, qui sont disposées par paires mutuellement adjacentes, se touchent au niveau du sommet d'un angle trièdre, qui est situé diamétralement à l'opposé de la quatrième face. Sur sa surface externe, ladite pièce dispose de quatre positions de support qui ont chacune comme centre un sommet d'angle trièdre. L'invention concerne un ensemble comportant d'une part un plateau de jeu doté d'un premier nombre de surfaces de jeu et d'autre part un second nombre de dés à jouer, chacune desdites surfaces de jeu comportant un évidement destiné à recevoir et à retenir un dé à jouer de manière amovible ou bien de manière à le laisser tourner. L'invention se rapporte également à un plateau de jeu doté d'un certain nombre de surfaces de jeu qui comportent, chacune, un évidement.
