A disinfectant spraying apparatus (10) is disclosed for mounting on a vehicle for spraying disinfectant on each tire (15) of a vehicle (12) before and after entering a livestock farm. The apparatus includes a container (20) for containing the disinfectant, the container being mounted on the vehicle. A pump (22) is disposed in fluid communication with the container for pumping the disinfectant from the container and a motor (26) is provided for driving the pump. A manually operated switch (28) is provided for selectively connecting the motor to a source of power such that when the swich is disposed in an operative disposition thereof, the motor is energized so that the motor drives the pump for generating a flow of the disinfectant downstream from the pump. A flow splitter (34) is included for splitting the flow of the disinfectant pumped by the pump from the container such that the flow is split into a plurality of flow lines.
L'invention concerne un appareil de pulvérisation de désinfectant (10) monté sur un véhicule en vue d'une pulvérisation de désinfectant sur chaque pneu (15) d'un véhicule (12) avant et après une entrée dans une ferme d'élevage de bétail. Cet appareil comprend un récipient (20) destiné à contenir le désinfectant, ce récipient étant monté sur le véhicule. Une pompe (22) est disposée en communication fluidique avec ledit récipient en vue d'en pomper le désinfectant, un moteur (26) servant à entraîner cette pompe. Un interrupteur à actionnement manuel (28) permet de connecter sélectivement le moteur à une source d'alimentation. Ainsi, lorsque cet interrupteur est mis en position de fonctionnement, le moteur est alimenté en énergie de manière à entraîner la pompe, d'où la production d'un écoulement de désinfectant en aval de la pompe. Un diviseur d'écoulement (34) permet de diviser l'écoulement du désinfectant pompé par la pompe à partir dudit récipient de façon que cet écoulement soit divisé en une pluralité de lignes d'écoulement.
