A display apparatus with a base (1) which has a configuration of rotatable members, one face of which is a different colour or pattern to that of the base. The rotatable members are held in place relative to the base (1) so that by rotating the members contrasting faces can be adopted to enable different letters and/or numbers to be formed by the contrasting faces. The base (1) can be hingeably joined to a backing plate (2) which is adapted to be fixed in any position where the display means is to be sited. The backing plate (2) can be formed integrally with the base (1) and joined thereto by a flexible connection so that they pivot relative to each other and clip together to form a flat member a plurality of which can be fitted together to form a panel or sign board.
Un appareil d'affichage comprend une base (1) ayant la configuration d'éléments tournants, dont une face est d'une couleur différente ou comporte un motif différent de la base. Les éléments tournants sont maintenus en place par rappport à la base (1) de sorte qu'en tournant les éléments les faces contrastéees sont utilisées pour former des lettres et/ou des chiffres différents.
