The present invention relates to a display means (1) comprising a stand (10) adapted to secure a screen (20). The stand (10) comprises a first part (11) which supports against an underlying supportive surface (u) and comprises a bobbin (40) enclosed in a cavity in the first part (11). The screen (20) can be wounded onto and withdrawn from the bobbin (40). The stand (10) also comprises a telescopic pole means (12) comprising an inner tube (121) and an outer tube (122), which tubes (121, 122) telescopically can be moved in relation to each other. The stand (10) also comprises a lock means (14) arranged on the inner tube (121) and operable to releasably lock the tubes (121, 122) in relation to each other, a coupling means (16) arranged at a first end of the inner tube (121) and operable to secure the screen (20) when it is at teast partly withdrawn from the bobbin (40), and a damper means (22'; 22") comprising a first part (221~; 221") arranged on the inner tube (121) and a second part (222~; 222~) arranged on the outer tube (122). The damper means (22'; 22") is operable to exert a damping force when the tubes (121, 122) are moved in relation to each other with at least a predetermined threshold velocity value.

Le support (10) comporte également un moyen de verrou (14) disposé sur le tube (121) intérieur et pouvant fonctionner pour verrouiller de façon libérable les tubes (121, 122) l'un par rapport à l'autre, un moyen d'accouplement (16) disposé à une première extrémité du tube (121) intérieur et pouvant fonctionner pour fixer l'écran (20) lorsqu'il est au moins partiellement dévidé de la bobine (40), ainsi qu'un moyen d'amortisseur (22' ; 22') comportant un première partie (221~ ; 221') disposée sur le tube (121) intérieur et une deuxième partie (222~ ; 222~) disposée sur le tube (122) extérieur. Le moyen d'amortisseur (22' ; 22') peut fonctionner pour exercer une force d'amortissement lorsque les tubes (121, 122) sont déplacés l'un par rapport à l'autre à une vitesse atteignant ou dépassant un seuil prédéterminé.
