A liquid-absorbent article to be worn by a user and comprising a substantially longitudinal absorption body (1) and a cover (2) enclosing the same. On a first side, facing the user in an in-use position, the cover displays a liquid pervious first cover-sheet (3) and on a second side, facing away from the user in an in-use position, the cover displays a second cover-sheet (4). On said first side is provided longitudinal liquid barrier means (17, 18) folded into tunnel shape, forming a channel (17', 18') with a longitudinal tunnel wall (17", 18"). Said folded portions enclose longitudinal means (24, 25) with an elastically resilient supporting action acting in all directions transverse to the longitudinal direction of the article against the tunnel wall (17", 18") of the folded portion.
Article absorbant les liquides, destiné à être porté par un utilisateur et comportant un corps d'absorption (1) sensiblement longitudinal enserré par un revêtement (2). Sur une première face tournée vers l'utilisateur lorsque celui-ci porte l'article, le revêtement présente une première feuille (3) perméable aux liquides, et sur une deuxième face tournée à l'opposé de l'utilisateur lorsque celui-ci porte l'article, le revêtement présente une deuxième feuille (4). Sur ladite première face est située une barrière longitudinale aux liquides (17, 18), repliée en forme de tunnel, formant un canal (17', 18') avec une paroi longitudinale de tunnel (17'', 18''). Lesdites parties repliées enserrent des organes longitudinaux (24, 25) avec une action de support élastique s'exerçant dans tous les sens, transversalement par rapport au sens longitudinal de l'article, contre la paroi de tunnel (17'', 18'') de la partie repliée.
