A mounting arrangement for a pendulum in a downhole drift indicator comprises a plunger (26) and a pendulum (46) defining respective normally spaced apart first and second surfaces, and a pivot connection (54) between the plunger and pendulum including a connecting pivot member (56). On the pivot connection being subject to a predetermined load the first and second surfaces engage to limit the load experienced by the pivot member. Also disclosed is a drift indicator biassing arrangement, the arrangement including a housing (40) partially defining a volume (38) for containing a fluid reservoir, a signalling plunger (26) and floating piston (42) defining respective wall portions of the volume and being moveable relative to the housing. A spring (88, 89) acts on the piston to compress the fluid in the volume and move the signalling plunger relative to the housing.
L'invention concerne un agencement de montage destiné à un pendule d'indicateur de dérive de fond de trou, lequel agencement comprend un piston-plongeur (26) et un pendule (46) délimitant respectivement des première et seconde surfaces normalement espacées l'une de l'autre, ainsi qu'un raccord à pivot (54) monté entre le piston et le pendule et comportant un élément pivotant (56) de raccordement. les première et seconde surfaces sont en contact avec le raccord à pivot, lequel est soumis à une charge prédéterminée, afin de limiter la charge subie par l'élément pivotant. On décrit également un agencement de sollicitation d'un indicateur de dérive, comprenant un logement (40) délimitant partiellement un volume (38) destiné à contenir un réservoir à fluide, un piston-plongueur (26) de signalisation ainsi qu'un piston flottant (42), lesquels délimitent respectivement des portions de paroi du volume et sont mobiles par rapport au logement.
