A drive apparatus for a grab device comprising two grab arms, which can be moved like pincers, preferably for a two bucket grab, consists of two hydraulic pivot motors whose shaft journals of the pivot shaft projecting over the motor housing carry the grab arms. Each of the pivot motors has a cylindrical tube piece which is provided at its inner wall with a section which is provided with an internal thread and which is in engagement with a section of the pivot shaft provided with an external thread. The tube piece is a ring piston axially displaceable within but held non-rotatably in a cylinder space formed in one of the housings. The pitch of the threads is so large that the ring piston is able to give the pivot shafts the required torque by its axial displacement. The displacement path of the ring piston between the two annular cylinder chambers, which are alternatively high and low pressure chambers which can be loaded with hydraulic oil, corresponds to the desired pivot angle of the two buckets.
Dispositif d'entraînement pour un grappin comprenant deux bras de préhension, qui peuvent être déplacés comme des pinces, de préférence pour une prise à deux bennes, ledit dispositif étant constitué de deux moteurs de pivot hydraulique dont les tourillons de l'arbre de pivot faisant saillie sur le boîtier de moteur portent les bras du grappin. Chacun des moteurs de pivot possède une pièce tubulaire cylindrique qui est disposée au niveau de sa paroi intérieure avec une partie qui est pourvue d'un filetage interne et qui est en prise avec une partie de l'arbre de pivot doté d'un filetage externe. La pièce tubulaire est un piston annulaire pouvant se déplacer axialement à l'intérieur d'un espace cylindrique formé dans l'un des boîtiers, tout en y étant maintenue de manière non rotative. Le pas des filets est si grand que le piston annulaire est à même de donner aux arbres de pivot le couple requis par son déplacement axial. Le trajet de déplacement du piston annulaire entre les deux chambres de cylindre annulaire, qui sont alternativement chambres à haute et à basse pression qui peuvent être chargées avec de l'huile hydraulique, correspond à l'angle de pivotement des deux augets.
