A drive chain has opposed pairs of inner link plates (3) that are interconnected by cast outer links (2). Pins (4) pass through aligned apertures in overlapping end portions of the inner and outer links. Each pin (4) is fixed relative to the inner link (1). The outer link (2) has open or blind bores (7) that receive end portions of the pins (4) in a pivotal relationship. A bearing area is defined between the outer surface of the pin (4) and an inner surface of the outer link bore (7). The provision of a bearing area in the outer link makes maintenance and sealing easier.
Chaîne d'entraînement possédant des paires opposées de plaques intérieures jouant le rôle de maillons et reliées avec des maillons extérieurs moulés. Des broches passent à travers des ouvertures alignées dans des parties d'extrémité des maillons intérieurs et extérieurs se chevauchant les unes par rapport aux autres. Chaque broche est fixe par rapport au maillon intérieur. Le maillon extérieur possède des perçages ouverts ou aveugles recevant les parties d'extrémité des broches de façon pivotante. Une zone portante est définie entre la surface extérieure de la broche et une surface intérieure du perçage du maillon extérieur. La présence de cette zone portante dans le maillon extérieur facilite l'entretien et l'étanchéité.
