The present invention relates to a drive mechanism (2) for transporting a tow (4) at constant speed between feed and receive reels (5, 6), an interlayer tape (7) being interleaved on both reels (5, 6) between successive windings of the tow. According to the invention, said tape is drivingly coupled between the two reels (5, 6) to a drive wheel (9) and each reel is further drivingly coupled to the drive wheel (9) via a slip mechanism (18, 19). Preferred application: driving fibres through a CVD chamber.
La présente invention concerne un mécanisme d'entraînement (2) pour transporter un câble de filaments (4) à une vitesse constante entre des bobines d'alimentation et de réception (5, 6). Une bande entrecouches (7) est entrelacée sur les deux bobines (5, 6) entre les enroulements successifs du câble. Selon l'invention, cette bande est couplée de manière à assurer un entraînement, entre les deux bobines (5, 6) et une roue d'entraînement (9). En outre, chaque bobine est couplée à la roue d'entraînement (9) via un mécanisme de glissement (18, 19). Une application préférée consiste à entraîner des fibres à travers une chambre de dépôt chimique en phase vapeur.
