The invention relates to a drum (5) or a drum segment (12, 12', 12") for an apparatus for drying pourable material. Baffles (8) which thoroughly mix and convey the pourable material (9) while a temperature-controlled gaseous transfer fluid is conducted from the inlet (4) to the outlet (6) of the drum are disposed within the drum (5) that is rotatable about the central axis thereof. According to the invention, several statically load-bearing support rings (7) which elastically compensate tensile and compressive stresses and are positively and/or non-positively connected to the baffles (8) and/or the mounting frame (14) thereof and the drum (5), are arranged between the baffles (8) and the drum (5). Also disclosed is a method which allows drums (5) or drum segments (12) to be produced more easily and at a lower cost than in prior art. In said method, baffle modules (18) are preassembled and are then inserted into a drum (5) or a drum segment (12).
L'invention concerne un tambour (5) ou un segment de tambour (12, 12', 12'') pour un dispositif de séchage de matériaux aptes à l'écoulement, ledit tambour (5) étant entraîné en rotation autour de son axe, et à l'intérieur duquel sont disposées des pièces encastrées (8) qui mélangent et transportent le matériau apte à l'écoulement (9), pendant la traversée d'un fluide de transport gazeux, tempéré, de l'entrée (4) à la sortie (6) du tambour. L'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'il est prévu entre les pièces encastrées (8) et le tambour (5), plusieurs anneaux supports (7) qui sont réalisés, statiquement, porteurs de charge, mais qui compensent élastiquement les contraintes de traction et de compression, et sont reliés par liaison de forme et/ou de force, avec les pièces encastrées (8) et/ou leurs cadres de montage (14) et le tambour (5). L'invention concerne en outre un procédé permettant que les tambours (5) ou les segments de tambour (12) soient produits plus facilement et à moindre coût que dans la technique connue. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que les modules des pièces encastrées (18) sont pré-assemblés, puis insérés ensuite dans un tambour (5) ou un segment de tambour (12).
