The present invention relates to a new taxane having the structure as in Formula (I), and its analogues as depicted in Formula (II) and Formula (III). The invention includes novel semi-synthetic and isolation methods for the preparation of these novel taxanes. Specifically, the present invention relates to the new taxane Canadensol isolated from plants of the Taxus genus, in particular, Taxus canadensis. The present invention further relates to the use of these new taxanes as anticancer agents.
La présente invention concerne un nouveau taxane présentant la structure décrite dans la formule (I) et ses analogues décrits dans la formule (II) et la formule (III). La présente invention comprend de nouveaux procédés semi-synthétiques et d'isolement permettant de préparer ces nouveaux taxanes. Plus particulièrement, l'invention se rapporte à un nouveau taxane Canadensol isolé à partir des plantes du genre Taxus, en particulier Taxus canadensis. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces nouveaux taxanes comme agents anticancéreux.
