A fan assembly for creating an air current comprises a base (12) having an air inlet (20) and an air outlet (88), the base housing an impeller (64) and a motor (68) for rotating the impeller to create an air flow passing from the air inlet to the air outlet. The fan assembly further comprises a vertically oriented, elongate annular nozzle (14) comprising an interior passage (94) having an air inlet (102) for receiving the air flow from the base, and a mouth (26) for emitting the air flow, the nozzle defining an opening (24) through which air from outside the fan assembly is drawn by the air flow emitted from the mouth.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble ventilateur permettant de créer un courant d'air. Cet ensemble ventilateur comprend une base (12) pourvue d'un orifice d'entrée d'air (20) et d'un orifice de sortie d'air (88). La base renferme une turbine (64) et un moteur (68) faisant tourner la turbine de façon à créer un flux d'air allant de l'orifice d'entrée d'air à l'orifice de sortie d'air. L'ensemble ventilateur comprend en outre une buse (14) en forme d'anneau s'ovalisant selon un axe vertical. Cette buse (14) comprend, d'une part un passage intérieur (94) définissant un orifice d'entrée d'air (102) recevant le flux d'air provenant de la base, et d'autre part une bouche (26) de soufflage du flux d'air, la buse définissant une ouverture (24) au travers de laquelle l'air provenant de l'extérieur de l'ensemble ventilateur est aspiré par le flux d'air soufflé par la bouche.
