A fastener assembly includes a bolt (1) having first and second ends and comprising a bolt head (2) at the first end and a shank, at least a part of which is screw threaded, a nut (12) for screw threaded engagement with the shank of the bolt (2), and a template alignment pin (30), wherein the bolt head (2) is provided with a coupling formation (27, 28) for detachably coupling to a corresponding formation (31, 32) on the template alignment pin (30).
