There is provided a fire prevention apparatus (1) which has a liquid discharge means (5) in the form of a nozzle in a flue (3). The liquid discharge means is fed through a conduit (7) from a controller (6) with a liquid for dissolving those flammable combustion products which are not burnt normally but form a flammable condensate on the surface of the flue pipe. A temperature sensing means (10) is mounted in the flue pipe (3) and connected to the controller (6) to provide for correct operation of the apparatus (1). The apparatus (1) may be manually or automatically operated.

La présente invention vise un appareil de lutte contre l'incendie (1) équipé d'un distributeur de liquide (5) ayant la forme d'une buse placée dans un tube (3). Le distributeur de liquide est alimenté par un conduit (7) relié à un appareil de commande (6) et distribue un liquide permettant de dissoudre les produits de combustion inflammables qui ne brûlent pas de façon habituelle et forment un condensat inflammable à la surface du tube. Un capteur de température (10) est monté dans le tube (3) et relié à l'appareil de commande (6) pour assurer le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil de lutte contre l'incendie (1), lequel peut-être commandé à la main ou de façon automatique.
