The invention regards an ecological flame retardant composition adapted to protect materials that are flame able, a method to prepare it, and a utilization of the retardant. No bromine, or borax components are included in the composition. Its composition comprises at least one of a mixture of a predetermined amount of the salts ammonium sulpha and disodium hydrogen phosphate and a mixture of a predetermined amount of water including a predetermined amount of the salts ammonium sulpha, disodium hydrogen phosphate.
