A fluid flow control valve comprising a housing including a first housing portion and a second housing portion and a diaphragm assembly inserted there between. The first housing portion comprises an actuating mechanism to bring the diaphragm assembly from an open position to a closed position, and vice versa. The second housing portion comprises a flow channel including a sealing member cooperating with the diaphragm assembly when the diaphragm assembly is in the closed position. At least one pressure compensating element is located between at least one of the first and second housing portions and the diaphragm assembly. That at least one pressure compensating element is adapted to compensate for variations of the sealing pressure between the diaphragm assembly and the first and second housing portions. Thereby, distortions of the housing portions are no more transferred directly to the diaphragm assembly but are absorbed by the compensating elements.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de régulation du débit dont le corps est formé de deux moitiés entre lesquelles est insérée une membrane. La première moitié du corps comporte un mécanisme actionneur servant à déplacer la membrane d'une position ouverte à une position fermée et vice versa. La deuxième moitié du corps comprend un passage d'écoulement muni d'un organe d'étanchéité agissant de concert avec la membrane lorsqu'elle est en position fermée. Au moins un compensateur de pression est placé entre au moins l'une des deux moitiés du corps et la membrane. Ce compensateur a pour fonction d'absorber les variations de pression entre la membrane et les deux moitiés du corps. Ainsi, les déformations des deux moitiés du corps plutôt que d'être transmises directement à la membrane sont absorbées par le compensateur de pression.
