A fluid dispenser (1) for dispensing a metered volume of a fluid product (2) having a storage chamber (57) for storing the fluid product in; a dispensing outlet (27) through which the fluid product is dispensable from the dispenser; a metering chamber (73) which is adapted to provide the metered volume of the fluid product for dispensing through the dispensing outlet by movement of the metering chamber between contracted and expanded states thereof, movement of the metering chamber from its contracted state to its expanded state placing the metering and storage chambers in fluid communication to enable the metering chamber to receive from the storage chamber an excess volume of the fluid product comprising the metered volume and a surplus volume; and a bleed arrangement (55a, 55b) adapted to bleed the surplus volume of the fluid product from the metering chamber. The metering chamber is defined by a boundary wall (28, 43) and an outlet (33) is provided in the boundary wall through which the metered volume of the fluid product is transferable from the metering chamber to the dispensing outlet. Un distributeur de fluide (1) qui permet de distribuer un volume dosé d'un produit fluide (2) comprend une chambre réservoir (57) pour contenir le produit fluide; un orifice de sortie et de distribution (27) qui sert à distribuer le produit fluide du distributeur; une chambre de dosage (73) qui est adaptée pour fournir le volume dosé de produit fluide à distribuer par l'orifice de sortie et de distribution en passant d'un un état de contraction (Fig. 2A) à un état d'expansion (Fig. 2D), le mouvement de la chambre de dosage entre lesdits états plaçant la chambre de dosage et la chambre réservoir en communication fluidique pour permettre à la chambre de dosage de recevoir de la chambre réservoir un volume excédentaire de produit fluide composé du volume dosé et du surplus de volume; et enfin, un dispositif de purge (55a, 55b) qui est adapté pour purger le surplus de volume de produit fluide de la chambre de dosage. La chambre de dosage est circonscrite par une paroi de délimitation (28, 43) dotée d'un orifice de sortie (33) qui permet de transférer le produit fluide de la chambre de dosage à l'orifice de sortie et de distribution. La chambre réservoir, la chambre de dosage et l'orifice de sortie sont placés dans le distributeur selon une configuration en ligne.
