A fluororesin-coated member in which the fluororesin layer has been improved in wearing resistance and adhesion to the base. When the coated member is used to form a mold for polyester container molding, part of a polyester resin or an oligomer ingredient or additive contained in the polyester resin is prevented from depositing on the mold surface and a polyester container excellent in gloss and transparency can be molded. The fluororesin-coated member (1) comprise a base (10) and a fluororesin layer (20) formed thereon, the base (10) having a surface roughness of 2-10~ in terms of mean square slope .DELTA.q1, the amount of the fluororesin deposit constituting the fluororesin layer (20) being 0.5-8.5 g/m2, and the layer (20) having a surface roughness of 5~ or lower in terms of mean square slope .DELTA.q2. The amorphous fluororesin layer (20) formed on a rigid surface of the base (10) of a mold for polyester container molding is removed with an abrasive material (30) and the base (10) is simultaneously planished. Subsequently, a fresh amorphous fluororesin layer (20) is formed on the surface of this base (10). Thus, the mold for polyester container molding is regenerated.

L~invention concerne un élément revêtu de fluororésine dans lequel la couche de fluororésine a été améliorée en termes de résistance à l~usure et d~adhérence à la base. Si l~on utilise l~élément revêtu pour constituer un moule pour moulage de conteneur de polyester, on empêche une partie d'une résine polyester ou un ingrédient oligomère ou un additif contenu dans la résine polyester de se déposer à la surface du moule et l~on peut mouler un conteneur de polyester excellent en termes de brillance et de transparence. L~élément revêtu de fluororésine (1) comprend une base (10) et une couche de fluororésine (20) formée sur celle-ci, la base (10) ayant une rugosité de surface de 2 à 10° en termes de pente carrée moyenne .DELTA.q1, la quantité du dépôt de fluororésine constituant la couche de fluororésine (20) étant de 0,5 à 8,5 g/m2, et la couche (20) ayant une rugosité de surface inférieure ou égale à 5° en termes de pente carrée moyenne .DELTA.q2. La couche de fluororésine amorphe (20) formée sur une surface rigide de la base (10) d~un moule pour moulage de conteneur de polyester est retirée à l~aide d~un matériau abrasif (30) et la base (10) est aplanie simultanément. Ensuite, une fraîche couche de fluororésine amorphe (20) est formée à la surface de cette base (10). Ainsi, on régénère le moule pour moulage de conteneur de polyester.
