The present invention pertains to an ultrasound therapy system and more specifically, to a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy apparatus guided by image registration and fusion method. The therapy system of the present invention comprises a central control means; an acoustic energy applicator; a mechanical driving and locating means of said acoustic energy applicator; a real-time B-mode ultrasound image guiding device. Further the therapy system of the present invention comprises an immobilization means for body position. By the help of this immobilization means for body position, real-time B-mode ultrasound images can be registered with diagnosis images, and then on the basis of registration, said B-mode ultrasound images are fused with said diagnosis images for guiding said therapy. Comparing to the existed technical solutions in this field, the present invention has effectively solved the difficult problems in high-intensity focused ultrasound therapy and particularly for tumor treatment with a low cost. And it provides a very practical technical solution, which can be easily applied to clinical treatment of tumors.

La présente invention a trait à un système thérapeutique ultrasonore, et plus particulièrement à un système thérapeutique ultrasonore focalisé, qui utilise un procédé d'alignement et de fusion d'images pour guider la thérapie. Le système thérapeutique de l'invention comporte un moyens de commande central, un moyen d'application d'énergie ultrasonore, un moyen de déplacement et de localisation pour le moyen d'application d'énergie ultrasonore, un moyen d'orientation d'images ultrasonores de type B en temps réel. En outre, le système de l'invention comporte également un moyen de fixation de la posture de patient, grâce auquel une image ultrasonore de type B est alignée avec une image de diagnostic, et sur la base de l'alignement l'image ultrasonore de type B et l'image de diagnostic sont fusionnées en vue de guider la thérapie. Par comparaison au système connu de l'art antérieur, l'invention est efficace et propose une thérapie ultrasonore focalisée d'intensité élevée économique, et plus particulièrement résout le difficile problème de la thérapie tumorale en fournissant un système extrêmement pratique, qui peut facilement être utilisé dans des thérapies tumorales cliniques.
