A foldable container is provided herein which includes a floor, a roof, at least two side-walls, and a frame which extends along the side edges of the floor. Each one of the side walls is connected to the floor through the frame and link members. The link members form a connection between the frame and a bottom edge of the respective side walls. One end of each link member is vertically displaceable in the frame wherein the wall may be turned between a horizontal position and a vertical position. The wall may also be displaced in its own plane. The floor frame forms a side support to the side walls when the side walls are erected to vertical positions.
