A dispenser is provided for dispensing stacked folded sheets. The dispenser includes a housing configured to hold the stack of sheets within an internal storage space. A cover member is pivotally attached to the housing and is movable between an open position wherein access is provided to the storage space, and a closed position wherein the cover defines a front panel of the dispenser. A dispensing opening is provided through which the folded sheets are dispensed when the cover is in its closed position. An overfill prevention device is configured within the housing. This device includes a stop member that is movably configured with a back wall of the housing and is movable between a restricting position when the cover is in its open position, and a relief position when the cover is closed. A latch mechanism is disposed in the housing in a position so as latch the stop member in its restricting position when the cover is in the open position. An actuator is disposed on the cover at a location so as to engage and release the latch mechanism when the cover is closed. The stop member is then free to move towards its relief position whereby compressive pressure on the stack of folded sheets is relieved.
L'invention concerne un distributeur de feuilles repliées empilées. Ce distributeur comporte un boîtier conçu pour recevoir une pile de feuilles dans un espace de rangement intérieur. Un capot fixé pivotant sur le boîtier peut passer d'une position ouverte donnant accès à l'espace de rangement intérieur à une position fermée où ledit capot définit la façade avant du distributeur. Une ouverture laisse passer les feuilles pliées lorsque le capot est rabattu. On trouve un dispositif anti-surremplissage à l'intérieur du boîtier. Ce dispositif comprend un élément de butée qui se déplace par rapport au fond du boîtier et qui peut passer d'une position de limitation lorsque le capot est ouvert à une position de détente lorsque le capot est fermé. Un mécanisme de verrouillage est disposé dans le boîtier de manière à verrouiller l'élément de butée en position de limitation lorsque le capot est en position d'ouverture. Un actionneur est disposé sur le capot dans une position qui lui permet d'enclencher et de libérer le mécanisme de verrouillage lorsque le capot est fermé. L'élément de butée est alors en mesure de passer vers l'avant sur une position de détente dans laquelle la force de compression sur la pile de feuilles pliées est relâchée.
