A folding assembly structure to arrange any one of a plurality of different articles into a folded orientation and including an orienting device having a main segment (16) and at least two outwardly extending and spaced apart side segments (18, 20), wherein the main segments and two side segments are initially disposed in engaging relation to different portions of the article being folded. A support assembly (14) comprises an elongated configuration selectively dispos-able into either a supporting position or a collapsed, stored po-sition, wherein the supporting position is defined by disposing the orienting device at a convenient height above a supporting surface to facilitate the arranging of the articles into the pre-ferred folded position.

Selon l'invention une structure d'assemblage pliant permet l'arrangement d'un article, parmi de nombreux articles, dans une position pliée. Cette structure comprend un dispositif de positionnement comportant un segment principal (16) et au moins deux segments espacés l'un de l'autre qui s'étendent vers l'extérieur (18, 20), le segment principal et les deux segments latéraux étant initialement disposés dans une relation d'engagement avec différentes parties de l'article en pliage. Un assemblage support (14) possède une configuration allongée que l'on peut disposer sélectivement en position de support ou en position repliée, de rangement, la position de support étant définie par mise en place du dispositif d'orientation au dessus d'une surface de support, à une hauteur adaptée facilitant l'arrangement des articles dans la position pliée préférée.
