A food handling system having a food product positioning system, vacancy reduction system, and a fill and packaging system. The positioning system has a controller for receiving data captured by a sensor and for instructing an alignment robot to move a food product to a destination position. The controller is capable of signaling the robot of the vacancy reduction system to move the food product from the food product parking station to fill a vacant food product position on the main conveyor. The shuttle packaging system includes the main conveyor for transporting food products in a longitudinal direction, a supply of open top containers displaced along a longitudinal direction and movable in the longitudinal direction into a filling station. The shuttle system includes a shuttle robot for moving food products from the main conveyor to an open top container in the filling station.
La présente invention concerne un système de manipulation de nourriture ayant un système de positionnement de produit alimentaire, un système de réduction despace vide et un système de remplissage et de conditionnement. Le système de positionnement est doté dun dispositif de commande pour recevoir des données détectées par un capteur et pour indiquer à un robot dalignement de déplacer un produit alimentaire jusquà une position cible. Le dispositif de commande est capable de demander au robot du système de réduction despace vide de déplacer le produit alimentaire de la station de stationnement de produit alimentaire pour remplir une position de produit alimentaire vide sur le tapis de transport principal. Le système de conditionnement à navette comprend le tapis de transport principal servant à transporter les produits alimentaires dans une direction longitudinale, une alimentation en conteneurs ouverts déplacés le long dune direction longitudinale et mobiles dans la direction longitudinale jusquà une station de remplissage. Le système de navette comprend un robot navette pour déplacer les produits alimentaires du tapis de transport principal vers un conteneur ouvert dans la station de remplissage.
