A device for making omelets has a conveyor (3, 4) for transferring plates (7) linearly through the device from a position for supplying each plate with omelet batter to a position for removal of a finished omelet from the device. The device has at least two separately controllable induction heaters (13) positioned under the conveyor (3, 4) in two treatment stations, the plates (7) being of magnetic material, and at least one infrared heater (11) positioned above the conveyor.
Dispositif servant à préparer des omelettes et possédant un convoyeur (3, 4) servant à transférer les assiettes (7) de façon rectiligne à travers ce dispositif depuis une position d'alimentation de chaque assiette en omelette battue non cuite jusqu'à une position de retrait de l'omelette finie du dispositif. Ce dernier comporte au moins deux éléments de réchauffement par induction (13) pouvant être contrôlés séparément et placés sous le convoyeur (3, 4) dans deux postes de traitement, les assiettes (7) étant constituées par un matériau magnétique et au moins un élément de chauffage infrarouge (11) étant placé au-dessus du convoyeur.
