This application concerns a formulation that may be applied on the skin, the semi-mucous and/or mucous membranes of the human body. It consists of a polymeric system comprised of an aqueous dispersion of particles of a film-forming fluoropolymer. The formulation delivers a very high-quality film, that does not transfer or shift with time. It can be used in make-up products, specifically lipstick, foundation, blush, eye-shadow, eye-liner, body make-up products, in skin-care products, specifically for the lips, in sun or self-tanning products, or in dermatological or pharmaceutical formulations. The invention also concerns the use of such a polymeric system to obtain a film capable of following the movement of the base.
