A fixation device for fixing a fracture (2) in a bone structure (1), in which a fixation pin (5) adapted for penetrating into a stable fragment (3) of a bone structure (1) across a fracture (2) has an end extending from an unstable fragment (4) of the bone structure (1) and a fixation plate (10) adapted for being secured to the stable bone fragment (3) distally from the end of the fixation pin (5). The fixation plate is engageable with the end of the pin (5) to prevent the pin (5) from backing out of the unstable bone fragment (4) while providing restraint against movement of the pin (6) in the plane of the plate (10). The end of the pin (5) extending from the unstable bone fragment (4) is engaged an opening (12) in the end of the fixation plate (10) and restrained thereat.
L'invention concerne un fixateur externe servant ~ r~parer une fracture (2) d'une structure osseuse (1). Une broche de fixation (5), con×ue pour p~n~trer dans un fragment stable (3) de la structure osseuse (1) en travers de la fracture (2), pr~sente une extr~mit~ qui s'~tend d'un fragment instable (4) de la structure osseuse (1), et une plaque de fixation (10) adapt~e pour se fixer au fragment d'os stable (3), ~ distance de l'extr~mit~ de la broche de fixation (5). La plaque de fixation entre en prise avec l'extr~mit~ de la broche de fixation (5) pour empÚcher cette dernire de reculer hors du fragment d'os instable (4), tout en assurant un blocage contre tout mouvement de la broche (6) sur le plan de la plaque (10). L'extr~mit~ de la broche de fixation (5) s'~tendant du fragment d'os instable (4) est ins~r~e et retenue dans une ouverture (12) m~nag~e dans l'extr~mit~ de la plaque de fixation (10).
