A frame format for a communication signal containing a bit stream including ATM formatted data, the bit stream being organized into frames (200) according to the frame format. The frame format includes a frame header (230), a data payload (240) having a first variable size, and a block code (250) having a second variable size which is used for error correction. The data payload (240) includes at least a partial ATM data cell (242) or a complete ATM data cell (244).
L'invention concerne un format de trame pour un signal de communication contenant un train binaire comprenant des données formatées en mode de transfert asynchrone (MTA), le train binaire étant organisé en trames (200) en fonction du format de trame. Le format de trame comprend un en-tête de trame (230), une charge utile de données (240) présentant une première taille variable, et un code complet (250) présentant une deuxième taille variable qui est utilisée pour la correction d'erreurs.
