The invention relates to a torque motor, especially a fuel cell torque motor, which converts the chemically stored energy of liquid or gaseous fuels, directly inside the torque motor while avoiding a separate installation of devices, into mechanical energy for driving at least one consumer. According to the invention, the torque motor is provided with fuel cells that serve as an internal energy source, whereby said fuel cells are arranged in the stator around the rotational axis of the motor in an annular manner. The torque motor is comprised of a rotor (1) and stator (6) with permanent magnets (2) arranged on said rotor (1) and with armature windings located in the stator. Said armature windings are supplied with current from a commutator (3) having electronic power components, whereby fuel cell modules (4) and fuel cell supply and control elements (5) are integrated in the commutator in a structurally modular-like manner. The permanent magnets (2) are arranged with a drum-like or disk-like design on the rotational axis of the fuel cell torque motor, whereby eliminating an external excitation of the electric torque motor in the rotor (1). L'invention concerne un moteur-couple, notamment un moteur-couple à piles de combustible, qui convertit l'énergie accumulée chimiquement de combustibles liquides ou gazeux, directement dans le moteur-couple, sans avoir recours à l'implantation séparée d'appareils, en énergie mécanique pour entraîner au moins un consommateur. Ledit moteur-couple est muni selon l'invention, de piles de combustible, comme source d'énergie interne. Lesdites piles de combustible sont disposées en anneau autour de l'axe de rotation du moteur. Ledit moteur-couple comprend un rotor (1) et un stator (6), avec des aimants permanents (2) montés sur le rotor (1) et des enroulements d'induit situés dans le stator, qui sont alimentés par un commutateur (3) avec des composants électroniques de puissance. Des modules de piles de combustible (4) et des éléments d'alimentation et de commande des piles de combustible (5) sont intégrés de manière modulaire dans le commutateur. Les aimants permanents (2) sont montés sur l'axe de rotation du moteur-couple à piles de combustible, à symétrie de rotation, en mode tambour ou à disques. Il n'est plus nécessaire de procéder à une excitation extérieure du moteur-couple électrique.
