The present invention provides a gravity gradiometer for measuring components of the gravity gradient tensor. The gravity gradiometer comprises at least one sensor mass for movement in response to a gravity gradient and a pivotal coupling enabling the movement of the at least one sensor mass about an axis. Further, the gravity gradiometer comprises a constant charge capacitor that is arranged so that the movement of the at least one sensor mass generates a change in a voltage across the constant charge capacitor.
L'invention concerne un gradiomètre de gravité pour mesurer des composants du tenseur de gradient de gravité. Le gradiomètre de gravité comporte au moins une masse de détection destinée à se déplacer en réponse à un gradient de gravité, et un accouplement pivotant permettant le mouvement de la ou des masses de détection autour d'un axe. Le gradiomètre de gravité comporte par ailleurs un condensateur de charge constante conçu de telle manière que le mouvement de la ou des masses de détection produit une modification de la tension dans le condensateur de charge constante.
