The invention relates to a hand-held device (1) for transferring a film (4) of for example adhesive, covering or coloured material from a supply onto a substrate (5), comprising a base body (2), on which the supply and an application member (3) are disposed, a cover (14) being provided for the application member (3) which is moveable between a covering position covering the application member (3) and a release position releasing the application member (3). With a view to reducing the amount of space required by the hand-held device (1), the direction of movement (14a) substantially follows the outer contour of the base body (2).

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) manuel permettant le transfert d'un film (4), par exemple d'un matériau adhésif, d'un matériau de revêtement ou d'un matériau coloré d'un distributeur sur un substrat (5). Ce dispositif (1) comprend un élément (2) de base, sur lequel sont disposés une réserve de matériau et un organe (3) d'application. Le dispositif comprend en outre un capot (14) pour l'organe (3) d'application, qui peut être déplacé entre une position de fermeture dans laquelle il couvre l'organe (3) d'application et une position d'ouverture libérant l'organe (2) d'application.
