A harness for human wear comprises an elongated belt (10) for encircling a waist of a wearer. A first strap (12) is fixed to the belt (10) and is extendible transversely of the belt (10) with a longer portion (18) of the first strap (12) extending from an upper edge of the belt (10), the first strap (12) having loops at each end thereof. A second strap (24) is fixed to the belt (10) and is extendible transversely of the belt (10) with a longer portion (26) of the second strap (24) extending from the lower edge of the belt (10) and a shorter portion (28) of the second strap (24) extending from the upper edge of the belt (10), the second strap (24) having loops at each end thereof. First and second ends of the belt (10) are connectable together, and the loops are adapted for disposal at a substantially common point for engagement with a single connector member.

L'invention porte sur un harnais à usage humain comprenant une ceinture allongée (10) entourant la taille du porteur. Une première courroie (12) fixée à la ceinture (10) et extensible perpendiculairement à la ceinture (10) comporte une partie plus longue (18) s'étendant à partir du bord supérieur de la ceinture (10) et munie de boucles à ses deux extrémités. Une deuxième courroie (24) fixée à la ceinture (10) et extensible perpendiculairement à la ceinture (10) comporte une partie plus longue (26) s'étendant à partir du bord inférieur de la ceinture (10) et une partie plus courte (28) s'étendant à partir du bord supérieur de la ceinture (10) et munie de boucles à ses deux extrémités. Les deux extrémités de la ceinture (10) peuvent être reliées l'une à l'autre et les boucles peuvent être amenées dans un point sensiblement commun pour permettre d'y engager un unique élément de liaison.
