A hearing aid comprises a signal path for receiving at least one audio input signal and autocorrelation index (ACI) estimating means, wherein the ACI comprises down- sampling means for producing a sampling-rate reduced signal of said audio input signal, sign extraction means for extracting a sign signal of said sampling rate reduced signal, memory and delay means for producing and storing delayed versions of said sign signal, comparison means for comparing a subset of the delayed versions of said sign signal with a version of the non-delayed audio input signal, averaging means for averaging the outputs of the comparison means to extract delay specific estimates of said audio signal self-resemblance, and obtaining means for obtaining an estimated autocorrelation index by determining summarized features from the delay specific estimates of said audio signal self-resemblance.
Cette invention concerne un appareil auditif comprenant un chemin de signaux conçu pour recevoir au moins un signal d'entrée audio et un moyen d'estimation de l'indice d'autocorrélation (ACI), lequel comprend un moyen de sous-échantillonnage conçu pour produire un signal à vitesse d'échantillonnage réduite à partir dudit signal d'entrée audio, un moyen d'extraction de signes conçu pour extraire un signal de signe à partir du signal à vitesse d'échantillonnage réduite, un moyen de mémoire et de retardement conçu pour produire et stocker des versions différées du signal de signe, un moyen de comparaison conçu pour comparer un sous-ensemble des versions différées du signal de signe avec une version du signal d'entrée audio non différé, un moyen d'établissement de moyenne conçu pour établir une moyenne des sorties du moyen de comparaison afin d'extraire des estimations spécifiques du retard de l'auto-ressemblance dudit signal audio, et un moyen d'obtention conçu pour obtenir un indice d'autocorrélation estimé par détermination des caractéristiques résumées à partir des estimations spécifiques de retard de ladite auto-ressemblance du signal audio.
