In the event of an abnormal situation wherein a large volume of dehumidified air leaks to the housing chamber (10), aid is emitted at a pressure above that prescribed towards the air tank of the rear stage. A hollow fiber membrane dehumidification device that it is equipped with (a) a housing chamber (10) that has been opened to the atmosphere through the medium of a through hole; (b) hollow fiber membranes (11) that have been provided in the housing chamber ( 10) and cause the compressed air that is supplied from one end to the inside to flow through, and at the same time discharge said compressed air from the other end as dehumidified air by discharging the moisture in said compressed air to the outside housing chamber (10); (c) a reflux route composed of a pipe for reflux (13), etc., that causes a portion of the dehumidified air that has been dehumidified by said hollow fiber membranes to flow back to said housing chamber (10) as purged air; (d) a first orifice (32) provided on said reflux route; and (e) a second orifice (33) that is provided on said reflux route and that possesses an opening diameter that is larger than that of the first orifice.1
