There is provided a household appliance (10) comprising a housing (11) and a cavity arranged within the housing (11). The housing element (14) is further arranged to allow viewing of the cavity. A display (12) which is transparent to at least one wavelength in the visible light spectrum is arranged in connection to the housing element (14) and is further arranged such that the cavity is exposed from outside the household appliance (10). The display (12) is a thin film type electroluminescent display which is arranged as an integral part of the housing element (14).

Linvention concerne un appareil électroménager (10) comprenant un logement (11) et une cavité agencée dans le logement (11). L'élément de logement (14) est en outre agencé pour permettre de voir la cavité.
