There is provided a hygienic cleaning apparatus for use with a conventional toilet bowl, the apparatus comprising (1) a horizontal conduit extending longitudinally in a first direction from a first end to a second end and having a first conduit port for receiving a flow of water originating from a water source and a second conduit port adapted to be connected to a flexible pipe for transferring the flow of water to a point of application; and (2) supporting members attached to the horizontal conduit and extending downwardly therefrom for supporting the horizontal conduit on the conventional toilet bowl, the conventional toilet bow having conventional bowl holes used for mounting a conventional toilet seat, where the supporting members are adapted to be detachably mounted on the conventional toilet bowl using the conventional bowl holes. There is further provided a cleanup support for use with a conventional toilet having a toilet seat and a toilet bowl, the cleanup support comprising (1) an inner portion for receiving and supporting an object to clean and for receiving flushed water while cleaning the object, where the inner portion is perforated for conveying the flushed water into the toilet bowl; (2) a peripheral portion surrounding the inner portion for preventing the flushed water of flowing outside the toilet bowl; and (3) a bottom portion comprising a conventional toilet seat adapter for detachably mounting the cleanup support on the toilet seat when the toilet seat is hinged to the toilet bowl and is in a downwardly extending position.
